My wordpress site is 44938. Cherry Framework. Not sure if I got the version info correct.

So, I have been using a hosting company called Talbot Services. I have been wanting to change my hosting company for months. Talbot Services uses plesk not cpanel. (And this I found out after the fact.) Anyway, I first was going to have godaddy migrate my account over. But Talbot Services refused to give us any information. And their solution was to use back up buddy. So I did and It looked like the migration worked last friday but come monday we got an error message saying it was looking for some file. Totally off line. Contacted Talbot and she said that she would migrate my website. OK?!!! Anyway, she attempted it and now if you go to http://www.asaok.com there is another error message and I can't even log on to the site to make any changes to remove the error message. Not to mention she migrate the site from several months ago and so my recent updates are not there. I am frustrated and don't know what to do. Here is the message when I go to the site.

AT this point I am really just looking at trying to log into my wordpress site? When I contacted Talbot she said "The theme you purchased requires customized installation. You’ll need to go back to the developer that you purchased it from for support."

- your "theme44938" seems to be the error.

- try switching to the unedited default Twenty Fifteen theme using FTP , or your web-host's cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides. Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and switch to the default theme by renaming your current theme's folder by adding "-old" to the end of the folder name. Alternately, you can remove other themes except the default theme. That will force your site to use it.

Has anyone experienced any issues with GoDaddy's managed hosting? I switched from the Linux based hosting to their WP offering and my traffic has dropped by almost half, the site is slower, and my pagerank has dropped.

GoDdady hosting is fine IMO. The last PageRank update was in 2013 - so we can be sure that hasn't changed any time recently...

Looking at your site, you have a Noindex,nofollow tag:

<meta name="robots" content="noindex,nofollow" />

This is blocking Google from your site.

This is probably due to you having the discourage search engines setting on:

Thanks Collin I forgot very time you update EDD plugins they stick a noindex nofollow tag back on there and I have to go in and change it (great feature EDD really helps ensure no one will use my site which is totally what I want). That isn't GoDaddy's fault although I am assuming that the speed issue is because of some other thing that they has turned off on my site.

Great, glad you got it sorted!

GoDaddy managed hosting should help your speed if anything...

I just checked, looks like potentially you are using quite a lot of plugins? Disable and delete any you aren't using any more.

Looks like you are using a plugin called Zen Cache? I cannot comment on how good it is, or whether that could be causing problems - but perhaps I would recommend either WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache - they both work great.

Also, call up Godaddy tech support - they are amazing - they will be able to help support you.

I have the same problem. But...

1- My site is this: http://www.bike.pro.br
2- My email has the same domain, but configured in Office365
3- I do not want to create another email to use in Gadaddy. Mainly because Godaddy has limited the number of emails sent per hour. I have many subscribers on my site receiving notifications every post I publish.

Precisely for this limitation I'm paying the Mail Exchange in order to send emails to all my subscribers at once.

I need my Wordpress hosted on Godaddy be able to send my emails through the Mail Exchange.

Can someone help me?

You can't reach the Office365 server from GoDaddy. Postman would have told you that during the wizard setup. You have to send the email through GoDaddy.

Hello,

Love the plugin, however was wondering if there was a way to insert the tables created into an email. The email client I am using is GoDaddy. not sure if that makes a difference or not.

I haven't been able to find anyone asking the same question out there. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,

thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

No, sorry, TablePress only allows adding tables to WordPress posts and pages, not other sites/email programs.

I tried wp-mail-bank and a couple other similar plugins (WP SMTP, and WP mail smtp) and none of them worked. I would get a test message through before I would change the settings as suggested for gmail but once I changed the settings the test messages would not work. The contact form did not work at any point.

I installed Postman via the wizard, the test email worked but the contact form continues to not deliver messages (even though there is a success message after the submission).

"Postman is configured.

Postman will send mail via the 🔐Gmail API using OAuth 2.0 authentication.
Postman has delivered 2 emails for you. View the log."

Any other ideas?

Hi guys,

I have moved my site to Godaddy with an Email Exchange and emails from subscribe 2 stop work.

So, after many days working on it a Install Mandrill and I start to receive e-mails from Wordpress again.

But I have 263 subscribers and Subscribe2 don't sent emails to then. The digest emails are sented only to me.

Anyone can help me?

In Godaddy I solved the problem by using Mandrill and now get the normal notifications, such as comments and etc.

But not the e-mail digest from Subscribe2.

I setup Subscribe to send 50 containers per e-mail, as I have 263 subscribers, I get 6 emails sent to my own email!

But does not send to subscribers. It seems that the Subscribe2 is sending all mail only to me.

Change the number of recipients per email back to the default setting of 1. It may well have improve delivery of emails and will certainly aid you while debugging.
