I am trying to set up e-mail on my wordpress site. I disabled all of my plugins and still can't register a new account with my multi-site install. I tried with the default settings and then using multiple SMTP plugins and all of the GoDaddy smtp server settings, both secured and unsecured. I am still unable to get an e-mail confirmation for my attempts to register and think I must have a basic setting not properly configured.
