I have Windows hosting on Godaddy, and link on my website aren't working at all! My site was originally just a home page, and I added a new page (/security) yesterday. Immediately went to Permalinks and selected the Post Name option (http://rmgfund.com/%page%/). Visited my page to admire my work. The home page loads normal, but the /security page won't come up.
Tried all of the following fixes:
- Changed the web.config file according to http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Permalinks_without_mod_rewrite
- Added .htaccess file to FTP according to http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Creating_and_editing_.28.htaccess.29 (then deleted after reading that this doesn't work on Windows hosting)
- Changed permalink settings to Custom Structure: /index.php/%postname%/ according to http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Permalinks_without_mod_rewrite
- Changed permalinks back to Default setting
Throughout all of that the home page loaded but the /security page won't load. Even with default permalinks it wont load. What else can I try?
