Dear Sirs,
I have a web site that is really slow and has major connectivity issues with the server problems I am trying to fix.
On the GoDaddy gateway, there is a rectangle representing my web site. On that rectangle is a button called settings. I click the settings button and one of the tabs is DNS.
There is an orange bar saying "A DNS A record update is required for this domain" below is "This is how your A record should look:" and then my A record (which is the correct number).
I have asked GoDaddy - but you can really tell they don't know because they put you on hold ask others and say it is correct.
QUESTION:
Is this orange message just a permanent default message that even if up to date, you would still see it and it would be orange (that being GoDaddys reply!)
or
Is this a real message: Telling me, I need A DNS record update - ie for real, like, do it - it needs to be done. (my opinion) The number or actual record displayed is correct though.
AND that if the DNS record did NOT need an update, then maybe it might be green rather than orange and say "Your DNS record is up to date" or something.
My feeling is it is a real message, telling me "it needs an update" and the cause of my problems.
Really appreciate your advise.
