It appears your site is resolving fine from what I can see at http://davidosborn.london.
The home page is quite large (> 5MB), but that's not surprising being a (gorgeous) image-driven site. That said, big images will always take a while to load. There are some things you can do to compress them. That does mean a tradeoff between resolution and loading time, however.
If you want to check out the performance, you can use something like webpagetest.org. Running one of the pages through that testing does indeed show that it's the large images that take up the majority of the download time. They show up as the longer bars on this analysis.
