I have hosted my site veronicapowelldesign.com through GoDadday for the last 4 years. This year, I decided to use Wordpress, rather than keep up with designing my own (thru Dreamweaver). So, today I installed the Wordpress 4.1 Installation to my veronicapowelldesign domain on my Godaddy hosting.
As I understand it, this means that I will have the flexibility of "self-hosting" and will be able to install themes from other sites, as well as plugins. However, every time I log into the back end of my site, I am stuck at the wordpress.com dashboard. I have no ability to upload a theme or a plugin. What am I missing here? Would greatly appreciate some help.
