h2hblogs on "Domain Mapping with Wpmudev domain mapping plugin"

I have been trying to map a domain to a sub domain of my WordPress Multisite.

I believe that I followed all the steps. I moved the sunrise.php to the wp-contents directory. Added the line of code in the wp-config file.

Set up the plugin by following the directions. The site is hosted at Blue Host on a WordPress Optimized VPS, and Set up to use Subdomains.

I set up an A record with Godaddy where my domain name is registered..
host @ points to my Blue Host Ip address

The Godaddy registered domain name resolves to Blue Host with a standard not here page.

But it still does not map to the subdomain I am trying to connect it to. When I use the plugin in the wp dashboard I get an error message that it is not working.

Is there something with Blue Host that I need to fix?

I know this is not as hard as it might seem, but I just do not know how to fix it..

I would rather not use any of the other methods of mapping than an A record or Cname to map the domains. I want the process to be done by the end user, not myself for new blogs.

Help please.
