I had GoDaddy check that and it looks like our MX records weren't set to Remote. A good catch, unfortunately our problem still isn't fixed.
@sarahlevinger, you're not using a remote mail server, you're using GoDaddy's own, or localhost, which is why you will not set your MX exchanger to remote mode.
The last I heard your problem was GoDaddy rejecting your email as Spam which has nothing to do with connectivity.
The person reporting the problem is saying that it's not an authentication (password) issue. Where are you getting that information from?
