I am new to Wordpress.
I checked my hosting directory and I found there's a folder named 'application_backups' however I don't understand where did it come from and how it was created.
I am hosting on GoDaddy, and I am running my website on wordpress. When I checked the content of the folder, I found that my website is being backuped automatically. However I don't have any backup plugin in my website.

Is it by any chance that Godaddy backup my website automatically, or this is a new feature in Wordpress?
I am worried because it's eating my disk space very quickly.
