The WordPress /wp-content/themes/ folder is only for adding WordPress themes and making them available at the WordPress Dashboard;
Placing folders alongside 'public_html' (if that is what you have done) will not make then accessible since the domain likely lands at 'public_html';
You will likely have to talk with the Support Techs at the new host about how to re-direct to their servers where you will then have to begin the task of actually importing into WordPress rather than merely uploading folders via FTP.
