Hi everyone, I'm doing my first site transfer involving a SQL file on GoDaddy for a client. The designer handed me these files/folders via a zip file in Dropbox:
- the .sql file
- the Uploads folder
- the Themes folder, and
- the Plugins folder
Is this enough to recreate the site? I installed Wordpress then made a first attempt using FTP and phpMyAdmin, but the files did not "clunk" into place like I had hoped (brewerykeywest.com). I might have done steps out of order, but I'm thinking I need more files from the designer, like the rest of the Wordpress root files, and wp-config.php. I do have experience with Wordpress and FTP, but any help for a site transfer noob would be greatly appreciated.
