I AM GETTING MAD!!!
Suddenly the plugin "EasyWP SMTP" does not works, everything was perfect, but I do not receive anymore my email notifications when a user/client sign up a form in my website created with the plugin "Formidable" since 4 days ago.
I tried couple of things; reading on forums, calling my server (Godaddy), calling (Office365), I also create different email aliases on (hola@linewoo.com , contacto@linewoo.com) and trying with these one... always send me the same problem: "Easy WP SMTP - SMTP connect() failed"
I followed the steps from the user @AWTX [on this topic: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/smtp-connect-failed?replies=33
I change the FROM address, for my contact form and the email address used in WordPress Settings, to a mailbox or forwarding alias using that same domain. I just make sure my WordPress site owner email address and my contact forms send mail TO a GoDaddy hosted forwarder or email account
Right now my credentials are:
*From Email Address: hola@linewoo.com
*From Name: Linewoo
*SMTP Host: smtp.office365.com
*Type of Encription: TLS
*SMTP Port: 587
*SMTP Authentication: Yes
*SMTP username: linewoo@linewoo.com
*SMTP Password: *****
Does anybody knows what is happening!??
