Hi mamadecreations, switching to Linux won't do anything to your site, other than making it run better (especially for Jetpack) :) I strongly suggest you ask GoDaddy to switch your plan to Linux, and PHP 5.3 is great for WordPress and Jetpack. You won't notice any different in how your site functions or in how you manage your site if you switch your plan to a Linux server.
