Huh. So my GUESS is that you're getting the redirect because it's an add-on domain, but if not, this is a question for GoDaddy since I know not their server configs for DNS redirects.

Did you add the domain to your Hosted Domains in the Go Daddy (GD) Hosting Control Panel? You have to do that to point the domain to the folder where the WP site is installed.
