I think its a Godaddy issue. I have another WP site hosted somewhere else and I have no issues. My Godaddy site has been having issues all day. From my end I keep timing out due to the slow response.

I seriously agree with you, godaddy hosting is down in the dumps. I too am on Godaddy. I suggest you to use Google's free pagespeed service or Cloudfare. And do you use any caching plugin ?
