To give a brief history to the issue
I was on Godaddy on a managed wordpress basic plan for the past year and then after discussions with some friends online and the customer support of Godday itself moved to a new basic wordpress plan instead of renewing the old one. After a few initial hiccups the website was migrated successfully or so they told me and everything was hunky dory till 4 days ago coincidentally when the older plan expired.

I am treating this not as two different issues and as one single issue because of the nature of the problem and what I've come to understand through the customer service interrogation. Apparently the migration from the old server to the new server didn't happen and though the domain was changed to point to the new server incidentally all my content was on my old server and all changes I had made over the past month was on the old server and old login.

The current situation is that I have no website, the backups do not work because apparently there's no data present on it and am stuck without access to the new wordpress dashboard (which is a clean slate) because it asks for a password to do anything which i don't have and cannot recover because I cannot figure which email it is sending the recover password mails to.

I am kind of technically challenged and by the looks of it I know more than the Godaddy technical team who have yet to reach anywhere after 4 days of working on it. After pressing on them to try and recover data from the expired product if infact it is the case as they say, the customer service told me in passing that it is a 75$ service and cannot be done.

Current scenario: Blank website, limited access to dashboard and with a manual backup taken 20 days ago which I'm keeping for a worst case scenario.

Errors recieved: Error establishing connection with Database
Pending Migration
Domain change in progress
Database Update required
404 error

Can someone make sense of my situation and shed some light on what could've happened and what can be done to recover my website. Would love to escalate it to godaddy as well but can't seem to figure out how.
